With thousands of apps on the App Store, uniqueness and features are the only things that set apart specific application from your average application in that genre. Equilibrio is an app based on a simple 3D maze game that is quite common on the App Store and the web. Its superior abilities as an application, excellent user interface, and great replay value make it one of the best games available on the iPhone.

The abilities of Equilibrio are phenomenal. Equilibrio boasts many game modes (conquest, challenge (against computer or time), and random), levels (60 levels to play and 23 trophies to win), and 5 different balls to move (each with different properties). Aside from this, Equilibrio can support 4 different player profiles, and can be played in six different languages. Equilibrio also has a Facebook update feature where you can show your score to your friends on Facebook. Equilibrio also has an excellent integration to the iPhone, thanks to its accelerometer use in its gameplay, which makes the game much funner.

Equilibrio’s UI is quite good: it simple, easy, and responsive. Some pluses from the user interface include easy user switching and a cool Cover Flow theme. As for the app’s replay value, it is very good. Thanks to its sixty levels, three modes, and Facebook Update, you will never get tired of Equilibrio. Its price of four bucks may seem high, but it’s really worth it. I do recommend that Fishing Cactus adds a Lite version of the application with about ten levels, to get the word out there.

Equilibrio is an all-around excellent application. Its excellent abilities and features, great interface and iPhone integration, and good replay value make it a must have on everyone’s iPhone.

Here is my final verdict for Equilibrio:

Pros: Fun Game, Great abilities, use of accelerometer, many levels and modes, Facebook Update Feature

Cons: No Lite Version (Update: Check out the new lite version!)
